Hi !

I read many posts on the forum to change the date format mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy.
As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to display the first three letters of the month. For example, I'd like to display : jan/25/2010

In deed, french and english people are using the SD and they don't understand if the date format is mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy.
That's why I need to change it.

Does anybody know how to do that?
Thanks

As described on web.cfg this format that you want is not supported for the Service Desk.
Bellow are the formats supported.
# DateFormat specifies the order of data elements in the display.
# Rearrange MM (month), DD (day), YYYY (year), hh (hour), mm (minutes),
# and a(am, pm) (AM/PM suffix) as required.
#
# M - print 1 or 2 digits of month.
# MM - print 2 digits of month.
# D - print 1 or 2 digits of date.
# DD - print 2 digits of date.
# YY - print 2 digits of year
# YYYY - print 4 digits of year.
# H - print 1 or 2 digits of hours on 24 hour clock
# HH - print 2 digits of hours on 24 hour clock
# h - print 1 or 2 digits of hours on 12 hour clock
# hh - print 2 digits of hours on 12 hour clock
# m - print 1 or 2 digits of minutes
# mm - print 2 digits of minutes
# s - print 1 or 2 digits of seconds
# ss - print 2 digits of seconds
# a(am,pm) - print am and pm as a string

I knew the formats described in the web.cfg file... I was hoping there was a way to add a new format somehow...

Thanks davi.graham for your confirmation!
