Repository Images not embedded into Notification Email

 I have managed to upload some images (Corporate Logo's etc) which are to be used within HTML Email Notifications for New Incidents.

Although the Images are visible within the HTML setup of the Notification, when the email is sent out, the image is replaced with a Red Cross (ie. Image not available)

Is there a way of 'embedding' the image into the Email Notification, so when the email is received by the Customer, the image is visible?

 One way to accomplish this requirement is through providing the url of the image in the notification. Try to retrive the image from www
