Hello!

I'd like to add a dropdown in the detail_chg of the Analyst interface.
The problem is that there is no "site" attribute in the properties window (in WSP).

In the same way, I'd like to add a dropdown linked to the server table and again, this attribute is not available.

I think I'm missing something...

Anyone can help me? Thx!!

gsc,

what relationship is being held between the site and your values on the ticket. in other words... what defines a Site value on the ticket.

Are you want only to show the value of the site on detail form?
If you want only to show the value of site , you can create a PMD_MACRO into detail form ponting to site located on location table, as the example bellow:
<PDM_MACRO NAME=dtlReadonly hdr="Site" attr=log_agent.location.site>

If you want to alter the data , you wiil need to create a new field of the type SREL pointing to site table on call_req table .

Eric, davi.grahim, thank you for your answers.

Eric, here is how I understand what my boss wants me to do: the site value depends on the server chosen in a dropdown. This dropdown should display the different servers stored in the ca_server table.

My problem is :
- there is no server attribute in the dropdown properties.
- I looked at the ca_server table and it seems that there is no
link between server and location or site tables.

davi.grahim,
are you sure that the new field pointing on site table should be created on the call_req table? Shouldn't it be on the chg table?

gsc,

you could always add a new field that has the relationship and then call that field.
