I want to set up change orders so that the only person who can approve the task is the assignee of the workflow task. I have set up a data partition as folllows

Workflow_Task Pre-Update assignee = @root.id

This keeps the user from viewing the task(which is what i want) however if the assignee field is blank I cannot view the task at all. So I need to add the partition to not see it if it is not the assignee but see it if it is null. All sql statements I have tried wont work.

Any thoughts?

Also if anyone has a partition created so that the requestor cannot approve the change order. That is also another problem we are running into. We are working this out as a training issue but that doesnt keep people from doing it.

Thanks in advance

Joe

is approval a status available for your Change Requests or the WorkFlow task status?
