Linking Multiple Child CI's (Assets)

 Our Config Management team have asked for an improvement to the CI function within USD 11.2

Currently if you click on Add Child within the CI Detail Form, you get the following detail form, detail_hier_edit.htmpl

However, this only allows you to link one CI at a time...what they would like is a similar for to the update_lrel_cnt.htmpl, that allows you to link/unlink multiple records (but for the CI data, rather than Contact).

Has anyone done this, and if so, do they have the htmpl that is required?
