Attachments Not Uploading Randomly [Until pdm services recycled]

 It seems like randomly the attachments just stop working until I recycle the pdm services.

I recycle the pdm services and it seems to resolve the problem. I believe we are on r11.2 patch level 2.

Is there a way to just restart the attachments process? Rather than restarting all of the services?

Thanks in advance for any info!

 I had a similar problem. CA informed me that there is no way to just restart the "attachment" services. Are you running on a Windows box by chance? If so, they supplied me with a test fix patch to apply that resolved our problem. The test fix patch number is T5EK097. I applied the patch in early February and we have not had a problem since. We are using SD R11.2 (cumulative patch #3).
