Hi ,

During the ticket creation i want to restrict the group to which the ticket can be assigned.
Is dis possible that only those groups can be viewed to which the ticket can be assigned.Rest of the groups should not be visible during the creation of the ticket

Suppose there are 10 groups but the ticket while creation can be assigned to 6 groups.So, Is dis possible that we restrict the view to only 6 groups on which the ticket can be assigned?

Using Data Partition it is possible

Thanks for reply!!!

I tried using through data partition
I applied the view constraint on table ca_contact as id.zclass='Test'.
It saved successfully.But when i open any ticket try to assigne the group.It throws this error.

ERROR:
AHD04199: An unexpected error occurred. Contact your administrator. [Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server] [ SQL Code=402 SQL State=42000] The data types ntext and nvarchar are incompatible in the equal to operator. (type = 2308)

Is this possible through any other data partition.

You must base the condition on a specific field. For example if the category is A then only display group (ABC). So what is the condition that you want only a certain group to be visible?

Hi

We are not using any category field . In this case it depends upon the creation and pre -update steps.
Like during creation of the calls it can be assigned to few groups.
So i need to write the condition on the basis of status or on the basis of data partition step.
.
Inputs are welcomed.
